Abu Dhabi: Represented by the Ministry of Interior (MOI), the State of Qatar participated in the inaugural GCC-European meeting of Directors General of Criminal Investigation, held in Abu Dhabi, UAE over the course of two days. Director General of Criminal Investigation Brigadier Mohammed Ibrahim Al Jufairi led Qatar’s delegation at the meeting.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing security cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the European Union. Participants deliberated on a range of topics included in the meeting agenda and formulated appropriate recommendations to strengthen collaborative efforts in criminal investigations and security measures.
The gathering served as a platform for exchanging insights and strategies to tackle shared security challenges, underscoring the importance of international cooperation in maintaining regional and global stability.
