Abu Dhabi: Represented by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), the State of Qatar is actively participating in the Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS 2025), organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from February 10 to 12. Mohamed Faleh Al Hajri, who manages QCAA, leads the Qatari delegation at the event.
According to Qatar News Agency, this symposium is a key event that gathers aviation leaders, government representatives, and global stakeholders to deliberate on the challenges and opportunities facing the aviation sector. It aims to address critical issues such as advancing the civil aviation sector toward net zero emissions through innovative practices and fostering international cooperation in this domain. Additionally, the symposium explores the integration of artificial intelligence-based solutions to further safety, efficiency, and operational excellence in aviation.
As part of its involvement in GISS 2025, the QCAA is also participating in the inaugural Global Sustainable Aviation Market (GSAM 2025). This global platform intends to unite stakeholders from the production, distribution, and financing of sustainable fuels to discuss the acceleration of sustainable aviation solutions and enhance governmental cooperation in this field.
Qatar consistently seeks to participate effectively in supporting ICAO’s goals and vision, positioning itself as a prominent supporter of the organization’s efforts to bolster the growth of the civil aviation sector.
