Qatar Establishes University for Military and Technology Sciences

Doha:Two Amiri Decisions have been issued by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, announcing the establishment of the Tamim bin Hamad University for Military and Technology Sciences and the appointment of its Board of Trustees, led by the Commander-in-Chief of the Qatar Armed Forces.

According to Qatar News Agency, the university is designed to integrate military and technical education under one academic framework, ensuring each college retains its unique identity and specialization. This initiative aims to elevate military education to meet modern scientific and technical demands.

The university will develop national military competencies, enhancing professionalism and national readiness. It aims to unify academic and training standards across the armed forces to ensure precise execution of operational missions, aligning with the leadership's vision of producing qualified leaders with advanced knowledge and professionalism.

Al-Arab newspaper emphasized that this development aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Defense Strategy 2025-2030. The establishment of the university is intended to prepare professionals who meet global military science and national security standards, contributing to the nation's security and stability.
