Doha: Qatar's Meteorology Department has forecast mild daytime temperatures and cooler conditions at night across coastal areas until 6pm on Friday. Forecasters said the weather along the coast would remain generally stable, while offshore areas may see occasional cloud cover.
According to Qatar News Agency, winds along the coast are expected to be mainly south-westerly, blowing at speeds of between 3 and 13 knots. Offshore winds will also be south-westerly, ranging from 4 to 14 knots. Visibility is forecast to remain good, between 5 and 10 kilometres, both onshore and at sea.
Wave heights along the coast are expected to range from one to three feet, increasing offshore to between two and four feet. The maximum temperature in Doha is forecast to reach 23 °C.
Tide times vary across the country. In Doha, the highest tide is expected at 2:17pm, with the lowest at 11:34am. Mesaieed and Al Wakrah will see high tide at 1:48pm and low tide at 11:52am. Al Khor is forecast to experience its lowest tide at 10:05am.
In Al Ruwais, high tide is expected at 4:03pm and low tide at 10:05am. Dukhan will see high tide at 8:53am and low tide at 3:12pm, while Abu Samra's high tide is forecast for 8:28am, with low tide at 4:31pm. Sunset in Qatar is expected at 4:56pm.
