Doha: The Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) actively participated in the Second World Summit for Social Development held in Doha, emphasizing its commitment to fostering sustainable and equitable development. Through innovative financing, strategic partnerships, and human-centered initiatives, QFFD underscored its dedication to advancing social progress and inclusive growth.
According to Qatar News Agency, QFFD led several high-level panels, bilateral meetings, and solution sessions during the summit. These engagements highlighted Qatar’s leadership in promoting inclusive growth and strengthening social protection systems, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Fahad Hamad Al-Sulaiti, Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development, affirmed the interconnected nature of education, health, and economic empowerment as pillars of social progress. He stated, “Achieving meaningful and lasting social development requires recognizing that no sector exists in isolation. At QFFD, we are committed to advancing long-term development and resilience through innovative financing models and high-impact partnerships that respond to the realities of our time, empower communities, and ensure that growth remains inclusive and sustainable.”
