Istanbul: The State of Qatar took part in the 7th Meeting of the OIC-COMCEC Central Banks Forum, convened in Istanbul, Turkiye, from Sept. 28 to 29. HE Governor of the Qatar Central Bank, Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani, represented the State of Qatar at the meeting.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting discussed a raft of topics on the agenda. On the sidelines of the forum, HE Governor of the Qatar Central Bank met with HE Governor of the Central Bank of Turkiye, Dr. Fatih Karahan. Deliberations throughout the meeting touched on strengthening bilateral cooperation in financial and banking fields.
