Doha:Qatar is eagerly preparing to host the 21st Asian Games in Doha in 2030, as expressed by HE Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia, and a member of the board of the Doha 2030 Asian Games Organizing Committee.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Buenain remarked that receiving the Asian Games flag in Nagoya signified the formal start of preparations to welcome athletes and sports delegations from across Asia back to Doha. He highlighted the significance of the 2006 Asian Games in Doha as a pivotal moment in Qatar's sports development and expressed that the 2030 Games aim to offer a distinctive sporting experience shaped by athletes, Olympic committees, and communities, showcasing the dynamic nature of Asian sport.
