Qatar Stock Exchange Experiences Significant Decline


Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) concluded its trading session on Sunday with a notable drop of 432.94 points, equivalent to a 4.23 percent decrease, closing at 9,800.01 points.



According to Qatar News Agency, the session recorded a total of 233,989,786 shares being traded, amassing a value of QR 554,512,409.106 from 29,715 transactions across all sectors. The trading activity saw a solitary company’s shares rise, while the shares of 49 companies fell, and three companies’ shares remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.



At the conclusion of the trading session, the market capitalization was reported to be QR 575,183,502,853.120, a decline from the previous session’s market capitalization of QR 600,704,002,913.641.
