Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange index rose at the beginning of Sunday’s trading by 0.17%, adding 17.63 points to its balance, thus rising to 10,636 points, compared to the closing of the last session, with support from four sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar Stock Exchange figures showed positive performance for the real estate sector by 0.53%, the banking and financial services sector by 0.45%, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.26%, and the industrial sector by 0.05%. Meanwhile, there was a negative performance for the insurance sector by 0.04%, the communications sector by 0.22%, and the transportation sector by 0.27%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,178 transactions worth QR 88.318 million, distributed over 38.665 million shares.
