Qatar Stock Exchange Sees Slight Decline at Opening

Doha:The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index started Thursday's trading session with a decrease of 6.06 points, or 0.07%, settling at 9238 points. This decline was influenced by losses in four sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the data revealed a positive performance in the Telecoms sector, which rose by 0.58%, Real Estate by 0.43%, and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.42%.

Conversely, the Transport sector experienced a decline of 0.07%, Banks and Financial Services fell by 0.18%, Industrials by 0.33%, and Insurance by 0.85%.

By 10:00 am, the total trading on the QSE amounted to QR 50.351 million, with 24,585 million shares being traded across 3140 transactions.
