Oil Prices Decline as US Inventories Increase and Gulf Exports Recover

Doha:Oil prices experienced a 1% decrease as crude exports from the Gulf showed signs of recovery and US inventories unexpectedly increased, alleviating supply concerns.

According to Qatar News Agency, Brent crude futures saw a 1.1% decline, settling at $96.92 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude dropped by 1.4% to $89.18 a barrel.

Both Brent and WTI had risen by approximately $1 a barrel the previous day. For the month of September, Brent achieved a significant gain of about 14%, marking its largest increase since July. Meanwhile, WTI recorded a monthly rise of about 5%.
