Doha: The State of Qatar has been actively engaging with international partners to ensure the continuous flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza and Lebanon, consistently emphasizing the importance of sustainable assistance delivery. In recent developments, Qatar’s collaborations with France, the United Kingdom, Turkiye, and Italy have significantly contributed to providing much-needed humanitarian support to these regions.

According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar’s partnership with France and the United Kingdom has resulted in effective humanitarian aid distribution, particularly benefiting Gaza and Lebanon. The collaboration highlights a commitment to addressing the ongoing humanitarian needs through coordinated international efforts.

In cooperation with the Republic of Turkiye, Qatar dispatched a vessel laden with over 1,900 tons of humanitarian supplies to Gaza. This initiative underscores a shared vision to tackle the unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the region through comprehensive regional and internationa
l cooperation.

Furthermore, a joint humanitarian operation between Qatar and Italy led to the Italian ship “Vulcano” arriving at La Spezia, Italy, from the Egyptian port of Al Arish. The vessel carried 60 Palestinians, including 18 children injured in the ongoing Gaza conflict, and 42 accompanying family members. The Qatari armed forces’ medical team, comprising six members, provided vital medical services to the injured during the ship’s two-month tenure as a field hospital at Al Arish.

Qatar’s humanitarian medical collaboration with the French Republic stands out as a significant instance of healthcare relief. French Navy aircraft transported 124 injured individuals from Gaza, with 54 subsequently transferred to Qatar for treatment. Both nations have also collaborated on delivering ambulances, tents, and essential supplies to Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need to bolster humanitarian aid flow to the region.

Qatar’s international cooperation strategy aligns with advancing economic and social development in
