Riyadh:The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the attacks by the Houthi group on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which resulted in injuries. These attacks are viewed as a serious violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a direct threat to regional security, civilian safety, infrastructure, and air navigation.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar released a statement on Saturday expressing full solidarity with Saudi Arabia. The statement emphasized Qatar's support for all legitimate actions taken by Saudi Arabia to protect its sovereignty, security, territorial integrity, and interests.
The Ministry also highlighted that the security of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of Qatar's security and the collective security framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
Additionally, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed wishes for the swift recovery of those injured in the attacks.
