Jeddah: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has selected a Qatari refereeing team to officiate the AFC Champions League Elite final, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari refereeing team consists of Abdulrahman Al Jassim as the referee, Taleb Salem as the first assistant referee, and Ramzan Al Nuaimi as the second assistant referee. Additionally, Khamis Al Marri will serve as the video assistant referee for the match.
Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia secured their place in the final by defeating their compatriot Al Hilal with a score of 3-1 in the semi-final. Meanwhile, Kawasaki Frontale of Japan advanced to the final after a close victory over Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia, winning 3-2 in the second semi-final match.
