Qatari Riders Secure Top Positions at Longines Global Champions Tour in Monaco

Monaco: Qatari rider Mohammed Khalifa Al Baker achieved a commendable 2nd place finish in the 145cm Grand Prix class during the Longines Global Champions Tour held in Monaco. Riding his horse, Hannah Zoe, Al Baker completed the round in 37.67 seconds.

According to Qatar News Agency, the top spot was claimed by Russian rider Kristina Klebanova, who finished the course in 36.19 seconds on her horse, Diamanda 4. South African rider Nicolo van der Westhuizen secured the 3rd position, completing his round on Stawita Ps in 38.99 seconds. The event awarded significant monetary prizes, with Al Baker receiving EUR 5,000 for his performance, Klebanova earning EUR 6,250, and Van der Westhuizen taking home EUR 3,750.

A day prior to this event, Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al-Thani also achieved 2nd place in the 140cm International Class, riding Marco Monet. Meanwhile, Ghanim Al Qadi secured 3rd place in the same class, riding Casal des Forets. Both riders demonstrated strong performances, contributing to the successful participation of Qatari riders at the prestigious event.
