QCB Governor Engages in Strategic Dialogue with People’s Bank of China at GCC Meeting


Al-Ula: HE Governor of the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani participated today in the joint meeting between the governors of the central banks in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the People’s Bank of China. The meeting was attended by HE Governor of the People’s Bank of China, Pan Gongsheng. This significant gathering took place on the sidelines of the inaugural Al-Ula annual Conference for Emerging Market Economies, which commenced today in Al-Ula, KSA.



According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting served as a platform for discussing several key topics on the agenda. The central bank governors deliberated on various issues and made decisions aimed at enhancing cooperation and economic stability within the GCC countries and with China. The discussions are part of efforts to strengthen financial and economic ties between the GCC and China, reflecting the growing importance of these relationships in the global economic landscape.
