QICDRC Engages in 2025 IACA Conference to Discuss Court Administration Innovations

Dubai: The Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC) participated in the 2025 IACA Conference, themed "Global Perspectives on Court Administration: Exploring Models, Maximizing Efficiency, and Embracing Technology." The conference was held in Dubai and focused on advancing court administration globally.

According to Qatar News Agency, the event was attended by QICDRC CEO Faisal Rashid Al Sahouti, alongside heads of judicial bodies, judges, and directors of judicial academies worldwide. The four-day conference covered topics such as the impact of artificial intelligence on justice enforcement, optimization of court administration, efficiency and access to justice, and various court models, including administrative courts and judicial commissions.

During a panel discussion on access to justice, Muna Al Kaabi, Case Progression Officer at QICDRC, detailed the court's initiatives to improve access to justice. This includes a legal clinic providing legal assistance to those unable to afford litigation costs and offering legal advice. Al Kaabi also explained the e-court system, which allows for virtual filing, tracking, and hearing attendance, enhancing convenience and efficiency for users.

Al Kaabi emphasized the availability of resources and references related to QICDRC's rules and litigation procedures, ensuring parties are well-informed of procedural measures. This bilingual approach in Arabic and English helps avoid mistakes and ensures smooth and efficient proceedings.

QICDRC's participation in the conference highlights its dedication to sharing judicial expertise, reviewing innovative practices, and showcasing advancements in service digitization and high-quality public services.
