QNA Launches Training Course to Enhance Media Content Production Skills


Doha: Qatar News Agency (QNA) launched today at the QNA Training Halls a new training course on media content production, within a series of courses and programs organized by the agency with the aim of raising the efficiency of its employees and national media cadres, enhancing their skills in various media and journalistic fields, and providing the media arena with young Qatari cadres capable and qualified to keep pace with the transformations and developments in this vital and important field.



According to Qatar News Agency, the three-day course will be presented by media expert and journalist Othman Al Mukhtar, from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI). A group of agency editors from various departments and specialized sections will participate in the course, in addition to employees from relevant and specialized government sectors.



The training course aims to enhance the skills of editors and media professionals in managing and preparing digital content, keeping pace with rapid developments in the media field. The course contributes to improving participants’ skills in writing concise and appealing journalistic content, which helps attract readers and expand the audience base, in addition to improving editing strategies in accordance with international professional standards.



The course also covers several topics, such as how to compete with global media outlets using algorithms, the accuracy of fact-checking information to ensure its accuracy, as well as dealing with information sources in the digital media age and understanding the challenges of artificial intelligence. All of this reflects the agency’s commitment to developing the local media environment and achieving the highest standards of quality in news reporting.



In March 2023, QNA opened ‘QNA Training Halls,’ equipped with the latest training methods, as part of its vision to enhance the capabilities of Qatari media professionals and create a generation capable of leading the future of national media.
