Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Tuesday, experiencing a rise of 66.19 points, or 0.62%, to reach 10,690.77 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 251,491,959 shares were traded in 31,126 transactions across various sectors, with a total value of QR 590,515,773.889. In the trading session, shares of 38 companies saw an increase, while 14 companies experienced a decline, and two companies’ shares remained unchanged.
The market capitalization saw an increase, standing at QR 633,129,362,604.362, compared to QR 627,962,583,952.698 recorded in the previous session. This growth in market capitalization reflects the positive sentiment in the market as investors responded to the trading activities.
