Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Monday, marking an increase of 97.26 points, or 0.89 percent, to reach 11,027.56 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed the exchange of 127,232,584 shares, amounting to a total value of QAR 367,854,797.907. These transactions were conducted through 25,510 trades spanning all sectors of the market.
Out of the listed companies, 35 recorded an increase in their share prices. Meanwhile, 15 companies experienced a decline in their stock values, and one company remained unchanged from its previous closing price.
By the end of the trading session, the market capitalization had increased to QAR 657,094,200,880.500, compared to the previous session’s market capitalization of QAR 652,781,148,044.357.
