QSE Index Declines 39.82 Points at Start of Trading


Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped by 39.82 points, or 0.38%, at the start of trading on Thursday, falling to 10,452 points from the previous close.



According to Qatar News Agency, the QSE index recorded declines across several sectors. Banks and Financial Services saw a decline of 0.49%, while Industrials decreased by 0.41%. Insurance dropped by 0.37%, Consumer Goods and Services fell by 0.02%, and Transportation experienced a slight dip of 0.01%. In contrast, the Real Estate sector showed a modest increase, rising by 0.34%.



By 10:00 am, the market had seen the trading of a total of 19.726 million shares across 1,493 transactions. The total value of these transactions was recorded at QR 45.056 million.
