Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index slipped marginally at the beginning of Sunday's trading, down 0.01%, losing 1.25 points to reach 10,334 points, compared to the previous session's close.
According to Qatar News Agency, QSE figures showed positive performance for several sectors. Consumer Goods and Services rose by 0.15%, Industrials increased by 0.07%, and Banks and Financial Services experienced a slight uptick of 0.01%. Conversely, several sectors saw negative performance, with Telecoms declining by 0.02%, Insurance by 0.07%, Transportation by 0.32%, and Real Estate suffering a drop of 0.43%.
As of 10:00 am, QSE recorded 2,782 transactions amounting to QR 56.376 million. These transactions were spread over 25.277 million shares, highlighting the active trading environment despite the overall marginal decline in the index.
