Doha: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) Foundation convened a Technical Meeting on Sunday for the first leg of the 2026-2027 Doha Bank Stars League. During the session, the focus was on reviewing and discussing various organizational and administrative aspects related to the matches.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting underscored the significance of commitment and collaboration among all involved parties, including organizers and match officials, to ensure competitions adhere to the highest standards. Instructions and guidelines for match day procedures were scrutinized, emphasizing the need for all parties to comply with designated arrival times at the stadiums.
Additionally, discussions were held regarding accreditation procedures and the allocation of official areas within the stadiums. Ahmed Salman Al Adsani, Director of Competitions at QSL, reiterated the importance of ongoing cooperation and coordination among QSL, league clubs, and relevant entities.
Jassim Al Hail, a representative from the Qatar Football Association's Referees Department, highlighted the necessity of working collaboratively with refereeing teams and respecting their decisions during matches. He noted that such cooperation is vital for fostering a conducive environment for match management and maintaining discipline on the field.
The Technical Meeting is part of the Foundation and clubs' preparations for the upcoming sporting season, reflecting QSL's commitment to enhancing coordination with all partners to ensure a successful and organized launch of the 2026-2027 Doha Bank Stars League.
