Doha: The Fourth Training Forum on partnerships and national and international cooperation - mutual dependence is set to begin on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024, as part of the Tamkeen 2024 Program "Empowerment" to enhance corporate excellence in the charitable and humanitarian sector. According to Qatar News Agency, the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) is organizing the event in collaboration with Lusail University, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation Council, Al Jazeera Media Institute, and Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The three-day forum aims to build the capacities of charitable and humanitarian organizations in Qatar, while also promoting their performance based on best global practices. The forum will feature workshops and training sessions addressing topics such as fostering the capacities for charitable coordination and multilateral partnerships, reviewing the global charitable and humanitarian work system, and understandi ng key challenges, complexities, and appropriate solution approaches. It will explore avenues for partnership and cooperation between the charitable and private sectors and will dedicate a panel discussion to the media's role in fostering partnerships and protecting corporate reputation. RACA hopes that the outcomes of this forum will reinforce cooperation as well as national and global coordination, in addition to supporting charitable and development operations in Qatar and creating an enduring and advanced corporate environment capable of effectively surmounting challenges.
