Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Sunday that it shot down 95 Ukrainian drones.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry said in a statement that until midnight, its air defenses had destroyed and intercepted 95 Ukrainian drones. It added that 30 drones were destroyed over Bryansk Oblast, 20 over Belgorod Oblast, 17 over Kursk Oblast, 16 over Oryol Oblast, five over Kaluga Oblast, and four over Tula Oblast. Two drones were also shot down over Moscow Oblast and one over Crimea.
Russia and Ukraine exchange almost daily announcements of downing drones, without verification due to the ongoing war since February 2022.
