Saudi Arabia and Japan Forge New Judicial Cooperation Agreement

Tokyo: Saudi Arabia and Japan have discussed ways to enhance bilateral judicial relations. This came during a meeting in Tokyo between Saudi Minister of Justice Waleed bin Mohammed Al Samaani and his Japanese counterpart Keisuke Suzuki.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the judicial field. This agreement includes the exchange of expertise and information in the legal and judicial domains. The MoU also identifies key areas of collaboration, such as legislation, capacity building, and dispute resolution.

During the meeting, the Saudi Minister of Justice highlighted the significant developments in the judicial and justice sector within Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the advancements in specialized legislation and its role in achieving prompt justice in the Kingdom.
