Saudi Crown Prince, Jordanian King Discuss Latest Regional Developments


Riyadh: HH Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and visiting Jordanian King Abdullah II held talks on Monday focusing on recent developments in the region. Their discussions centered on the repercussions of military escalation in the Middle East and its broader impact on both regional and global security and stability, as well as coordinated efforts to tackle these challenges.



According to Qatar News Agency, both leaders expressed concern over repeated hostile actions by Iran targeting the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and Jordan. Such attacks on vital and civilian facilities were highlighted as a significant threat to the security and stability of the region. The discussions also included a review of bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Jordan, emphasizing the importance of their partnership in addressing regional issues.
