Washington, The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the United States in Washington received numerous visitors today on the occasion of the annual ‘Passport DC’ day celebrated in Washington.

During the event, the embassy endeavored to showcase the Kingdom’s rich culture and history by presenting an introductory overview of the Kingdom and its local customs. It included photographs of prominent landmarks such as the Two Holy Mosques, the capital Riyadh, and other major projects. Visitors also had the opportunity to explore images of diverse tourist sites and urban heritage.

Live artistic performances, featuring the traditional Saudi Ardha dance and other accompanying arts, were part of the visit. Additionally, there was a coloring corner for artistic activities and a Saudi kitchen corner offering visitors local dishes from various regions of the Kingdom.

One of the highlights was the “Camel Corner,” which fascinated both young and old with these creatures symbolizing the history and heritage of the de
serts in the Kingdom.

The event was part of a broader initiative where embassies of countries around the world open their doors to welcome visitors, showcasing their cultures, arts, local heritage, cuisines, and traditional fashion shows from various participating countries.
