Saudi Stock Exchange Ends Day with Decline

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index experienced a downturn on Sunday, closing 42.27 points lower at 10,964.71 points. The trades for the day were valued at SAR 3.2 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the total number of traded shares reached 324 million. Out of the companies listed, 65 saw an increase in their share values, while 182 companies experienced a decline by the end of the trading session.

The Saudi Parallel Stock Exchange Index, known as Nomu, showed a contrasting performance as it closed higher. Despite this rise, it lost 132.37 points, settling at 27,162.60 points. The trades on Nomu were valued at SAR 21 million, with the number of traded shares exceeding two million.
