Riyadh: The main Saudi stock market index experienced a downturn today, closing down by 134.01 points to settle at 10,544.10 points. The total trading value was recorded at SAR 5.2 billion.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading volume reached 305 million shares. Out of the total shares, 55 companies saw an increase in their value, while the shares of 199 companies declined.
Meanwhile, the Saudi parallel market index, known as Nomu, also witnessed a decline. It closed lower by 107.41 points, settling at 21,877.22 points. Trading in the parallel market was valued at SAR 13 million, with a volume exceeding 1.7 million shares.
