State Minister for International Cooperation Discusses Humanitarian Efforts with KSrelief Supervisor-General


New york: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met Wednesday with HE Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court and Supervisor-General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.



According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion focused on promoting bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, especially in the humanitarian and relief sectors. HE the Minister emphasized the importance of regional collaboration to address humanitarian crises and alleviate the suffering in disaster-stricken areas.



Both parties acknowledged the leading roles of Qatar and Saudi Arabia in supporting humanitarian and relief initiatives on regional and international fronts. They explored the possibility of developing joint projects and coordinated initiatives in health, education, and protection of vulnerable populations.



The meeting concluded with an agreement to maintain ongoing consultation and coordination to enhance effective humanitarian response, underscoring shared values in humanitarian efforts.
