Damascus: Syrian President, Ahmad Al Sharaa met here on Saturday with Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, David Lammy to discuss bilateral ties and ways to boost cooperation. The meeting was held in the presence of Syria's Foreign Minister, Asaad Al Shaibani and went over the latest regional and international developments of common concern.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between President Al Sharaa and Foreign Secretary Lammy focused on enhancing the existing relations between Syria and the United Kingdom. Both parties expressed interest in developing cooperative efforts across various sectors and emphasized the importance of collaboration for mutual benefit.

The meeting underscored the need for ongoing dialogue and communication to address regional challenges.
