Madrid: Coco Gauff reached the final of the Madrid Open after emphatically defeating Iga Swiatek, 6-1, 6-1.
According to Qatar News Agency, Gauff won all nine of her first-serve points, including four aces, and did not face a break point. She hit 11 winners, while committing only four unforced errors. Swiatek, on the other hand, had 13 unforced errors and only five winners.
The American will face the winner from the match between Aryna Sabalenka and Elina Svitolina in the other semi-final match.
