Turkish, Iranian Presidents Discuss Regional Developments

Doha: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian discussed the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East, particularly the ongoing clash between Iran and the Israeli entity, over a phone call.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement today, the Turkish presidency said that Erdogan assured Pezeshkian of Ankara's readiness to play a facilitating role in immediately ending the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran and returning to the nuclear negotiations.

The statement added that the two presidents also touched on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
