Ukraine Claims Significant Russian Casualties in Ongoing Conflict

Kyiv: The Ukrainian army reported that approximately 1,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded in the past 24 hours, contributing to a total of around 1,207,910 Russian military personnel affected since the onset of the conflict in Ukraine in 2022.

According to Qatar News Agency, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided detailed figures on the losses inflicted upon Russian forces. Ukrainian operations have led to the destruction of 11,481 tanks and 23,845 troop-carrying armored fighting vehicles. Additionally, 35,642 artillery systems, 1,586 multiple-launch rocket systems, and 1,266 anti-aircraft systems have been neutralized.

The statement from the Ukrainian military also highlighted the downing of 434 aircraft, 347 helicopters, and 97,684 drones. Furthermore, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 4,136 cruise missiles, 28 warships, two submarines, as well as 72,247 vehicles and fuel tanks. The Ukrainian army has also dismantled 4,035 units of special equipment throughout this ongoing conflict.
