Msheireb: Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q) has launched an expanded version of the pioneering LifeHub project at a new location in Msheireb Downtown, providing a uniquely immersive educational experience that promotes Qatar's vision for a healthier, more sustainable future built on innovation and human progress.
According to Qatar News Agency, LifeHub is now located in the Z-07 Building at Msheireb Downtown, near the Msheireb metro station. It presents a vision for the future where technological innovation, AI, and advancements in medical science equip future generations with a healthy, secure, and sustainable world.
LifeHub occupies a three-story, 1,634 sqm space, offering visitors the chance to experience themed zones that use immersive, interactive, and AI-powered technologies to highlight global challenges and demonstrate the role of innovation and human ingenuity in overcoming them.
These zones showcase the causes and effects of climate change, the impact of sustainable practices, hi-tech ways to protect ecosystems and wildlife, the history of medicine, healthy lifestyles, and the potential for AI and precision medicine to enhance human health.
LifeHub is delivered by WCM-Q, with support from the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) and the Ministry of Municipality (MOM). Dean of WCM-Q Dr. Javaid Sheikh expressed pride in forming strategic partnerships to advance LifeHub, which aims to harness public enthusiasm for technologies like AI and precision medicine to address global challenges.
CEO of Msheireb Properties Eng. Ali Al Kuwari highlighted that Msheireb Downtown Doha emphasizes community welfare and ecological responsibility, and housing LifeHub in the district advances awareness about health and sustainability.
LifeHub Msheireb aligns with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 and builds on the success of WCM-Q's LifeHub Pavilion at Expo Doha 2023, which attracted over 77,000 visitors. Located near Msheireb metro station and Galleria, LifeHub is accessible to the community, open 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday - Thursday, and 3 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Fridays.
