Sharjah: The fifth edition of the Arab Forum for Cultural Heritage, organised by the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM-Sharjah), began on Monday in Sharjah, UAE. The event is themed "The Role of Women and Youth in Preserving Cultural Heritage and Museum Innovation."
According to Qatar News Agency, the three-day event features officials and experts from Arab countries and around the world. This year's forum seeks to highlight the pivotal role of women as guardians and transmitters of cultural knowledge, underscoring their contribution to preserving identity and collective memory for generations.
The forum also focuses on the transformative potential of youth as new leaders and innovators in the field of heritage preservation. It emphasizes their ability to offer creative solutions and modern technologies to protect cultural heritage.
