Kabul: Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty discussed regional developments and ways to strengthen bilateral relations during a phone call with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the two ministers stressed the importance of de-escalation and containing tensions in the region. They emphasized prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic channels in light of the current regional circumstances.
The conversation also involved an exchange of views on the latest developments in several key areas, including Sudan, the Gaza Strip, Libya, and the Horn of Africa. The discussions emphasized ongoing efforts aimed at preserving regional security and stability.
