Doha: Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Monday held talks with HH President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as part of the latter's official visit to Egypt. The discussions focused on ways to strengthen bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of economy, trade, and development.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two leaders also addressed a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern, with special emphasis on developments in the Middle East. They reaffirmed that a two-state solution remains the only viable path to achieving lasting and comprehensive peace and ensuring regional stability and security.
Additionally, both sides voiced support for all efforts and initiatives aimed at securing a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
