Doha: Eight people were killed and 12 others injured on Thursday when a passenger train collided with a minibus in Egypt. The Egyptian health and population ministry said that the accident took place at a crossing point along the Gelbana-Qantara East road in the Nile Delta governorate of Ismailia.
According to Qatar News Agency, the incident occurred when the microbus attempted to cross quickly from an undesignated crossing. The Egyptian national railways provided this information in a separate statement.
