Ukraine: Ukraine reported four injuries and the interception of dozens of Russian drones overnight, while Russia's Defense Ministry said its forces had struck military-industrial facilities, ports, and naval vessels in Ukraine.
According to Qatar News Agency, Russian forces attacked 19 areas in the Sumy region using guided aerial bombs, artillery, and drones, injuring four people. Ukraine's air defense forces stated they had shot down 63 of 80 Russian drones launched overnight.
Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry announced its forces had conducted overnight drone strikes on military-industrial facilities and ports in Ukraine, in addition to targeting Ukrainian naval vessels. Among the targets was the Kyiv Automobile Transport Company, an industrial facility that manufactures specialized vehicles for the Ukrainian armed forces.
The ministry also reported that a dry cargo vessel carrying military supplies had been targeted at the port of Chornomorsk in the Odesa region. Russia and Ukraine have reported near-daily attacks since February 2022, with claims by both sides often difficult to independently verify amid the ongoing conflict.
