GCC Secretary General Condemns Repeated Iranian Attacks on UAE ADNOC Tankers in Strait of Hormuz

Doha: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the repeated Iranian attacks on ADNOC tankers belonging to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, underscoring that this brutal targeting represents an unacceptable escalation and a grave violation of the security and safety of maritime navigation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the GCC Secretary General stressed the need for Iran to immediately halt all of its hostile actions that threaten security and stability in the region and the world, calling on the international community to exert pressure on Iran to cease these hostilities.

He reiterated the GCC's full and unwavering solidarity with the UAE, standing by its side and supporting all measures it takes to protect its security, territorial sovereignty, and interests.
