Iraqi Authorities Bust Three ISIS Operatives in Diyala, Anbar

Doha: Iraqi security forces on Saturday apprehended two ISIS operatives and seized military equipment in Diyala Governorate, northeastern Iraq, following the issuance of arrest warrants against them, the Military Intelligence Directorate said in a statement. The statement added that the warrants were issued in accordance with the provisions of Article 4(1) of the Anti-Terrorism Law, and that the defendants were referred to the competent authorities for further legal action. Meanwhile, the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service announced the apprehension of an ISIS operative in Anbar Governorate following precise intelligence and field surveillance.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Iraqi Counter Terrorism Service, operating on detailed intelligence, successfully captured the third ISIS operative in Anbar.
