Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher with Notable Gains in All Share and Premier Market Indices


Doha: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index gained 25.09 points to reach 7,944.18 points, an increase of 0.32 percent. As many as 788.8 million shares valued at KWD 194.6 million (roughly USD 599.3 million) were traded via 25,896 transactions.



According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went down by six points to reach 7,409.82 points, a decrease of 0.08 percent, through 581.14 million shares done via 581.1 transactions valued at KWD 123.7 million (roughly USD 380.9 million).



The Premier Market Index showed a positive trend, going up by 34.18 points to reach 8,469.75, up by 0.41 percent. This was achieved through 207.6 million shares done via 9,914 transactions valued at KWD 70.8 million (roughly USD 218 million).



Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index lost 32.42 points to reach 7,443.30 points, a decrease of 0.43 percent. This was through stock volume of 470.8 million shares done in 11,028 deals at a value of KWD 110.9 million (roughly USD 341.5 million).
