Ukraine: Number of Russian Military Casualties Climbs to 850,490 Soldiers Since Onset of War

Doha: The number of Russian military casualties since the start of the war in February 2022 has risen to approximately 850,490 soldiers, including 1,170 who were either killed or wounded during the latest 24-hour reporting period, the Ukrainian military said in a statement on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the statement added that since the start of the war, the Ukrainian forces have destroyed 10,001 Russian tanks, 20,813 armored combat vehicles, 22,879 artillery systems, 1,273 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,059 air defense systems.

In addition, 370 fighter jets, 331 helicopters, 24,623 drones, 3,054 cruise missiles, 28 warships, one submarine, 36,638 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 3,740 units of specialized equipment were destroyed, the statement continued.

Meanwhile, reports from Moscow and Kyiv contradict each other regarding the battlefield data, with the independent verification being impossible due to the ongoing combat operations since February 2022.
