Kuwait: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index gained 52.10 points to reach 9,009.9 points, an increase of 0.58 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, as many as 538.4 million shares valued at KWD 131.7 million (roughly USD 401.6 million) were traded via 26,275 transactions. The Main Market Index went up by 22.71 points to reach 8,242.09 points, up by 0.28 percent, through 343 million shares done via 16,255 transactions valued at KWD 49.8 million (roughly USD 151.8 million).
The Premier Market Index gained 61.87 points to reach 9,645.30 points, up by 0.65 percent, through 195.4 million shares done via 10,020 transactions valued at KWD 81.9 million (roughly USD 249.7 million). Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index went up by 34.90 points to reach 8,588.29 points, up by 0.41 percent, through stock volume of 18.5 million shares done in 6,600 deals at a value of KWD 18.5 million (roughly USD 56.4 million).
