Minister of State at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Engages in Diplomatic Talks Amid Regional Tensions

Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi received phone calls from advisors to the leaders of Brazil, France, and Germany. The discussions centered on the escalating military tensions in the region and their impact on regional and international security and stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation involved HE Advisor to the President of Brazil Celso Amorim, HE Advisor to the President of France Paul Soler, and HE Advisor to the Chancellor of Germany for Foreign and Security Policy Gunter Sautter. The focus was on resolving disputes through peaceful means.

HE Dr. Al Khulaifi emphasized that the Iranian attack on Qatari territory was a violation of national sovereignty and contradicts principles of good neighborliness. He highlighted Qatar's efforts to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the international community, noting that the recent targeting of Qatari territory undermines trust and bilateral relations.

The minister called for an immediate cessation of escalatory actions and a return to dialogue to preserve regional security. The advisors from Brazil, France, and Germany expressed their countries' solidarity with Qatar in addressing the situation.
