MOEHE Hosts 2nd Early Education Coordinators’ Forum for 2025-26 Academic Year

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has held the second coordinators’ forum for early education for the 2025-2026 academic year. Organized by the Early Education Department, in collaboration with the Training and Development Center, the event focused on kindergarten and foundational stage education under the theme of my environment, my support.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum is part of the department’s preparations for the new academic year and reflects its commitment to fostering educational partnerships between schools and parents, building inclusive and motivating learning environments, and reinforcing the role of coordinators as leaders of educational change. Serving as a practical platform for knowledge-sharing, the forum aimed to implement the department’s strategic directions in a way that supports children throughout their early learning journey.

The event drew participation from around 400 coordinators, who were engaged across four specialized tracks: Literary, Scientific, English Language, and Kindergarten. Speaking at the forum, Director of the Early Education Department Dhabia Mohammed Al Khulaifi praised the collective achievements of the past academic year, attributing the success to cohesive teamwork that merged vision with execution and support with application-leading to tangible results reflected in children’s behavior and progress.

She emphasized the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to building on these accomplishments, noting that the current academic year is founded on strong foundations laid previously. She described schools as beacons of knowledge, welcoming young minds and enriching them with the skills and knowledge that shape their thinking and cultural awareness. Al Khulaifi also highlighted the critical role of educators as the backbone of early childhood education, stating that the mission of early education will continue to be driven by dedication and a spirit of collaboration, paving the way for achievements that all stakeholders can take pride in.

The forum’s theme encapsulates the department’s core message for the year-recognizing the child’s environment, both at school and home, as a vital source of support for their growth and development. It calls for the creation of comprehensive educational environments rooted in partnership and shared responsibility. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s broader efforts to develop and empower educational personnel at the outset of the new academic year.
