Qatar Boat Show 2026 Set to Boost Maritime Sector

Doha:Old Doha Port: The Qatar Boat Show is scheduled to take place from November 4 to 7, 2026, under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Organising Committee for the Qatar Boat Show announced its third edition at a press conference held at Old Doha Port. The event will feature several official partners, emphasizing collaboration to enhance the maritime sector and marine tourism in Qatar.

Eng. Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla, CEO of Old Doha Port and Chairman of the Organising Committee, highlighted the growth of local participation and the involvement of Qatari companies, showcasing the show's commitment to supporting the local maritime industry.

The committee reported that 70 percent of previous international exhibitors would return, with a 3 percent increase in Gulf company participation. New boats and first-time participants are expected, demonstrating confidence in the exhibition's ability to attract leading maritime entities.

Collaboration between public and private sectors is seen as vital to the show's success. Major government entities and companies are participating, enhancing the experience for exhibitors and visitors.

Eng. Mohammed Al Atwan, COO at Old Doha Port, noted the show's role in industry networking and investment opportunities. The previous edition attracted over 27,000 visitors from 105 countries, featuring vessels valued over QR 880 million.

Through integrated partnerships, the Qatar Boat Show aims to enrich visitor experiences and contribute to the growth of Qatar's maritime sector, aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030.
