Qatar to Play Two Friendlies Against India in Preparation for Asian Basketball Championship

Doha: The Qatar Basketball Federation has launched the second phase of the national team's preparatory program, with a training camp in Doha from July 8 to 14. The internal camp follows the conclusion of the first phase in Turkiye, and it is part of ongoing preparations for the 2025 Asian Cup finals in Saudi Arabia.

According to Qatar News Agency, the camp includes morning and evening training sessions at the Al Gharafa Club Hall, in addition to two friendly matches against India as part of the high-level competitive preparation. The first match is scheduled for Friday, July 11, while the second will be held on July 13.

During this camp, Turkish coach Hakan Demir aims to focus on strengthening team cohesion, implementing defensive and offensive systems, and improving physical readiness as the continental championship approaches.

This camp is an essential part of the federation's comprehensive preparation plan aimed at ensuring the team's physical and technical readiness and enabling the players to enter the continental championship in the best possible condition.
